The Dee Why Lions are excited to again offer pre-school aged kids (turning 4 or 5 years in 2023) the opportunity to be involved in rugby in a fun and safe environment.

Our Lion Cubs “train and play” at the same time that our Minis train every Friday night from late March through to August at the Dee Why Lion’s home ground, James Morgan Reserve (corner of Carawa Rd and Fisher Road, Cromer).

Kids play fun games that help build fitness, hand-eye coordination, and ball skills, all while making new friends and feeling like they’re part of a team.

Our canteen will be open selling a range of beverages, snacks and hot food. Not only fun for the kids, but a very social night for parents too!

Your $30 registration fee will include a specially designed Lion Cub training shirt which kids are encouraged to wear every Friday night.

This year, our Lion Cubs will register through Rugby Xplorer. We have provided the steps below to register. If you require any assistance with registering, please contact our registrar at registrar@deewhylions.com.au

TIPS FOR REGISTERING
If this is your first time registering on Rugby Xplorer, you will need to sign up first.
You can access Rugby Xplorer at https://myaccount.rugby.com.au/ or download the app from https://www.rugby.com.au/rugby-xplorer
If you have registered players through Rugby Xplorer before (e.g. older siblings), you should be able to login with your email address. If you have forgotten your password, use the Reset Password link on the login page.

Once you have signed up / logged in, go to Register in the menu (click More in the app to view the menu), then select which person you would like to register.

Click on Find a Club
Select the relevant player under Who would you like to register? and hit Next.
If you need to add a new player, select “Link a new person” and complete the required details.

Which club would you like to register to?
Enter/select ‘Dee Why JRUFC’ and hit Next

Registration Type
Select the following details
• Role: Select ‘Modified Rugby Participant’
• Registration Type: Select ‘Little Rugby’
• Duration: Season
then hit Next

Personal details
Check / update details and hit Next

Profile Photo
Upload a photo and hit Next (or you can hit Skip and upload this later)

Additional details
Complete required details and hit Next

Emergency contact details
Check / update details and hit Next

Additional questions
Complete details (Height, Weight, School) and hit Next

Registration Summary
Check the details, read and check the box for ‘I have read and agree to the National Terms and Conditions’ then hit Pay.

Enter credit/debit card details or select to pay via zip.
Hit Make payment.
